FinnFunn 2026
The story of East Hill Farm begins in 1765, when the land was first settled. About a century later, the Farm welcomed its first overnight paying guests—Massachusetts farmers who brought their herds of up to 400 cattle north to graze the rich pastureland on Gap Mountain and Mount Monadnock during the summer months.
By 1920, East Hill Farm began hosting seasonal vacationers known as “summer people,” offering a rural retreat from city life. Following World War II, the property officially became known as The Inn at East Hill Farm and began operating year-round.
What began as a working farm has evolved into a beloved family farm destination resort. Today, guests enjoy cozy lodging, three home-cooked meals daily, and a wide variety of activities for all ages. Whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or celebration, The Inn at East Hill Farm blends rustic charm with warm hospitality for a truly unforgettable experience.

This working farm is providing housing for the weekend. Located right in Troy, the Inn can accommodate 140 people a night.
It has a total of 56 accommodations, all with private bathrooms. Each unit has its own distinct style and charm. There are rooms for those who enjoy the warmth and feel of an old cozy farmhouse as the Inn itself was built back in 1834. There are rooms appropriate for couples and families either large or small, from basic to deluxe.
Please let us know if you need special accessibility accommodations for your stay in regard to your room or dietary needs.
Some rooms may contain extra amenities such as refrigerators, air conditioning, hair dryers, ceiling fans, televisions or fireplaces. Only a few of the accommodations allow dogs. All rooms are non-smoking, and none have phones.

Sauna is trending right now in the U.S.A. Finns, however, have gathered in these wood-fired spaces for over two thousand years — to cleanse, to heal, to sit in silence together. Long before wellness became an industry, the Finnish sauna was simply part of life.
That tradition is alive at FinnFunn. Our Sauna Village offers two distinct experiences. Mark Babson brings Got Sauna — a wood-fired space he has tended for years, shaped by a quiet devotion to heat and stillness. Laodice Flanagan brings Cedar and Sol, a mobile wood-fired sauna she built for warmth, connection, and shared pause. Two saunas. One ancient practice.
Both public and private sauna sessions are available — gather with fellow attendees or reserve a sauna for yourself and your people.
The sauna asks only that you sit. What you’re carrying can wait. Your heart rate climbs, your muscles release, and your body remembers what it feels like to just be.
Pour water over the stones. Feel the löyly rise. Sit with family and friends in the heat a little longer than feels comfortable. That’s where the Finnish part of you exhales.
